What is a company data partnership?

micro1's estimator ad says companies earn $100K to $2M or more by licensing "anonymized operational data". Translated: your everyday business records, minus personal details.

Rival programs package it in other ways. One type plugs into your existing software and scrubs personal details there, another pays for an agreed copy, and a third introduces you to a buyer.

micro1 offers two routes. In the first you share existing records, which takes roughly 1 to 3 hours of listing plus as much as 10 hours of technical work to transfer. In the second your staff produce fresh material like prompts and feedback, on an ongoing basis.

The term hints at repeat deals, and micro1's ads talk about recurring opportunities. Nobody is offering you shares or taking a seat in your company. Ask your lawyer if the contract could create a partnership in the legal sense.
