Nyne review: what sellers actually get

Nyne licenses anonymized records from a company's accounting, CRM, scheduling and project software. It says typical deals reach $100K or more. To qualify you need 20+ full-time W-2 staff in the US and at least three years of trading.

Its most useful feature for sellers is a promise to beat qualifying written offers from other buyers.

02

Who Nyne buys from

Nyne's floor is lower than most: 20 full-time US employees on W-2 payroll, three years of trading, and a decision-maker such as the owner or CEO who can approve the license. Nyne says size alone does not qualify you; the dataset also has to fit a need it has identified.

The partnerships page asks for more than the sell page does: whole chat histories from Slack, Teams or Google Chat, plus email, calendars and documents on top of the business systems.

03

What Nyne pays

Nyne says deals are commonly worth $100K or more. That is its own statement, not a guaranteed minimum. The estimator on its partnerships page showed a default range of about $45K to $104K and is labelled indicative.

Read the fine print on the price-match. Nyne looks only at net cash in a current written offer covering equivalent data, rights, payment conditions and work. It does not promise any set amount above it, and calculator results or "up to" numbers do not count. A real written offer from another buyer is what triggers it.

04

The contract terms

According to Nyne, names, IDs and customer details get stripped, and you may hold back entire categories of data. You transfer the data as it exists and Nyne does the cleanup on its side. It sets retention and deletion per engagement.

The seller contract is written for each deal. The master services agreement posted on Nyne's site is for companies buying its data services, so do not treat it as your license.

The Facebook ads promise more: deletion within 30 days and no sale to your competitors. If those promises matter to you, get them written into your contract rather than relying on the ad.

05

Nyne's referral program

Introducers can earn up to $20,000 when a company they refer (20+ full-time US staff) closes a deal.

06

How Nyne finds owners

Nyne runs the same ad template across trades: your old dispatch data, deal files, media plans or manufacturing records "could be worth six figures". Those ads open a Facebook form.

A second page called Nyne AI runs plainer ads pointing to nyne.ai and names a 10-employee floor, half of what the site requires. Go by the site.

07

What Nyne offers

Nyne describes itself as a research and data company that supplies AI labs with licensed data and access to domain experts. TechCrunch covered its start as a people data business, matching public online profiles to build a picture of each person for AI agents. Nyne says it has provided tens of millions of dollars of data to labs and research companies; that figure is its own.

08

Is Nyne a fit for your company?

Nyne is a strong fit for a US company of 20 to 50 people with years of history in accounting, CRM and scheduling tools, especially field service and trades. Get a written offer from another buyer first, then use Nyne's promise to test it.

09

Six checks before you send Nyne anything

We run the same checks on every buyer we rank. They take an afternoon and they protect the one thing you cannot take back: the copy of your records.

  • Find the legal entity. A registered company name, an address and at least one named person. A Facebook form alone is not enough.
  • Get the offer and the contract in writing before any export. A sample agreement tells you more than a sales call.
  • Ask who strips personal data, how, and when. You should approve the method and see a sample before anything leaves your systems.
  • Ask where the data goes. Which AI companies receive it, whether you are told, and whether it can be resold.
  • Ask how everyone is paid. By you, by the buyer, or out of your deal. Referral fees are normal; hidden ones are not.
  • Get a second quote. Terms from at least one other buyer is the fastest way to know if an offer is fair.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How many employees does Nyne require?

The website asks for 20 or more full-time W-2 staff in the US and at least 3 years trading. One ad page says 10+, but go by the website.

Will Nyne really beat another offer?

It says it will top a current written offer for equivalent data, rights and payment conditions, judged on net contracted cash. There is no promised margin.

Does Nyne delete our data after 30 days?

The ads say so. The site sets retention per engagement, so put the 30-day promise in your contract.

Does Nyne publish its seller contract?

No. Each deal has its own agreement. The master services agreement on its site is for customers of its data services.

Who runs Nyne?

Nyne.ai Corp., founded by Michael Fanous and his father Emad Fanous, backed by a $5.3M seed round.
