Buyer review
yourdatavalue.comYour Data Value review: what sellers actually get
Your Data Value's ads promise you keep the original while selling a copy, quote $200K to $2M, mention a 30 to 60 day timeline and stress no upfront cost. It is a broker: it takes a cut once you are paid, and buyers may pay it as well.
Some buyers pay us a referral fee. It never changes your price or our score. How we make money.

03
What Your Data Value pays
It describes $200K to $2M as the usual range, and openly says its sample deals come from elsewhere, not from its own clients.
04
The contract terms
Two pages tell different stories about handling. On the homepage and in its privacy policy, it never receives, stores or resells your data, which you deliver straight to the buyer. On the start page, it helps you gather the records, strip personal details and handle delivery. Find out which applies to you.
05
Your Data Value's referral program
Its terms say it may receive compensation from buyers for introductions, on top of its percentage from you.

Is Your Data Value a fit for your company?
Get its percentage in writing and the names of the buyers it would introduce. Then compare your expected net with a direct buyer that charges nothing.

Six checks before you send Your Data Value anything
We run the same checks on every buyer we rank. They take an afternoon and they protect the one thing you cannot take back: the copy of your records.
- Find the legal entity. A registered company name, an address and at least one named person. A Facebook form alone is not enough.
- Get the offer and the contract in writing before any export. A sample agreement tells you more than a sales call.
- Ask who strips personal data, how, and when. You should approve the method and see a sample before anything leaves your systems.
- Ask where the data goes. Which AI companies receive it, whether you are told, and whether it can be resold.
- Ask how everyone is paid. By you, by the buyer, or out of your deal. Referral fees are normal; hidden ones are not.
- Get a second quote. Terms from at least one other buyer is the fastest way to know if an offer is fair.
