Referral programs for introducing a company to a data buyer

Clients are raising the subject, and buyers will pay you when a client you introduce signs. Advertised fees reach $50,000 a company or a slice of the deal, so read the conditions carefully.

01

Who pays for introductions

  • micro1

Its referral page advertises up to $50,000 per company. Its terms put the standard rate at 7.5% of the license price

  • Mode

For US referrals, $50,000 or 6% (whichever is higher) on the first five qualifying deals, rising in later tiers

  • Pewter

10% of what the business is paid, capped at $100,000 per business, paid once

  • Handshake AI

    $10,000 flat per company

  • Mercor

Referral page lists amounts by company type

Each company's own published terms, October 2026. Terms change, so check before relying on them.

02

Conditions that catch referrers out

  • Under micro1's terms, a referrer may not claim to be its agent, recruiter, representative or partner.
  • If you own or work at the company you are referring, expect to disclose that in writing.
  • Certain programs pay you only once the business has been paid, and some keep the right to hold back or cut payouts.
  • The referred company must meet the usual bar, typically 20 to 30 staff and several years on record.

03

If you advise the client

When a CPA or IT firm refers a client, the fee comes from the buyer, never the client. What you must tell the client about that fee depends on your professional rules. Disclose it in writing either way.

How we are paid

AI Data Offers may earn a referral fee when a company we introduce signs with a buyer. It never changes your price, and it does not change our scores. See how we make money.
