What counts
Which records count: email, job notes, quotes, tickets and procedures
Anything that captures your staff doing the job counts, such as email, job notes, quotes, tickets, call notes, procedures and project history. A bare record of a transaction generally won't qualify by itself.

The same list, in shop language
Think server job folders and exports, binders, manuals, training guides, past email and tickets. Contractors have bid records and change logs, distributors have supplier correspondence, and a company wiki or dispatch handbook qualifies too.
03
Does a pile of invoices count?
An invoice by itself only shows the charge. Linked to the quote, the emails agreeing scope and the job notes, it tells how the work was priced, won and completed, the repeatable process buyers want. QuickBooks, Xero and NetSuite are mentioned by name.
04
What stays out
Buyers remove names and personal details, sometimes replacing client names with codes. Sensitive employee and health records are often excluded. Beyond that, you can exclude whatever you like, including HR and payroll files, privileged material and documents covered by client NDAs.
