Company data value estimators: get a rough number first
You want a ballpark before talking to anyone. Use our estimator for a range, then compare it with buyers' own published bands. Every estimator we found asks roughly the same questions and labels its answer as indicative only.

Most forms ignore two things: the number of systems you run, and whether records connect between them. On its own, a quote is worth little. Linked to its emails and its invoice, it is worth far more.
02
The free estimates in the ads
Some buyers host their own calculators, and brokers promote free valuations or a texted figure after a short questionnaire. The questions are near identical, and the honest ones all state that the number is no offer.
03
How to read any estimate
Compare it with recorded prices, not with ad headlines. Closed startups have mostly fetched $10K to $100K, and buyers advertise $100K to $2M (self-reported) for trading firms. Treat any figure well beyond both with suspicion.
We set your band from published minimums and deals that are on record. The band edges are our estimate. The only number worth planning around is a written offer made after a buyer has seen samples of your actual records.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Is there a calculator for what company data is worth?
Yes. Several buyers run free estimators and ours gives a range too. All are indicative, not offers.
Why does it ask about English?
Most buyers want records mostly in English, and some price non-English data lower or decline it.
Are free broker valuations accurate?
Treat them as a sales opener. Check them against published bands and recorded deals.
Will someone call me after I use one?
Often yes, especially if the form asked for your phone number.
See what your data could be worth
A rough range from published deals and buyer price bands, based on headcount and years of records.
